Our story

Products, not client work

BeliefSoft is a solo-founded product company building software that makes everyday life simpler, smarter, and more secure.

Unlike service-based companies, we don't build software for clients — we create our own products from the ground up. Every product begins with a real problem, is shaped through thoughtful design, and is refined with continuous improvement.

Our mission isn't to launch countless applications. It's to build a small number of products people genuinely trust, and to stay with them.

The name

Built on Belief

Driven by Passion

Belief

A conviction about how software should treat the person using it. Ours holds no account of yours, ships no analytics, and runs against no server we control — not as features, but as the shape of the thing.

No SDK in the project. No backend in V1.

Passion

One person, every stage — research, design, code, and the decisions about what to leave out. That is a real constraint, and it shows up as a preference for fewer things finished over many things nearly done.

Four releases shipped. Six features removed before launch.

Mission

Our Mission

To build reliable, privacy-conscious software that solves meaningful problems while delivering exceptional user experiences.

Vision

Our Vision

To become a globally recognized product company known for creating innovative software that positively impacts everyday lives.

Our values

Six principles we don't trade away

Everything else about a product is open to change. These decide what gets built and, more often, what does not.

01

Privacy First

Users should own their data. In practice that means designing so we never hold it — not promising we'll look after it well.

02

Purpose Driven

Every product starts with a real problem someone actually has. We build with intention, not trends.

03

Simplicity

A vault nobody opens protects nothing. If the least technical person in a family can't use it, it doesn't work.

04

Quality Over Quantity

One product, finished properly, over a portfolio of half-built ones. We would rather be small and trusted.

05

Continuous Innovation

Shipped is a starting point. Every release note on this site is a real change to a real build.

06

Trust

Stated limits, published changelogs, and no claim we can't show you. Trust is a record, not a promise.

Values are easy to publish and hard to check. The version you can check is the decision log.

How we build
Who builds it

Who builds BeliefSoft’s products

BeliefSoft was founded on a plain belief: meaningful software doesn't require a large team. It requires staying with one problem long enough to actually solve it.

Every stage of Kinora — the research, the design, the code, the decisions about what to leave out — runs through one person. That is a real constraint, and it shows up in the product as a preference for fewer features that are finished over many that are nearly done.

It also means there is no support queue. When you write to BeliefSoft, the reply comes from the person who wrote the thing you're writing about.

Stay connected

We ship rarely. Hear about it when we do.

An email when a BeliefSoft product opens up or reaches a store — starting with Kinora. That's the whole list. No sequences, no newsletter you didn't ask for, and nothing you can't leave in one click.

Only product releases. A few emails a year at most.
